SIZE:
Tayt has good size for a 2026 Dual Threat QB at 5'8" 155 lbs. This QB has that "it" factor. Strong confidence in his ability to lead his team. Plays with a controlled aggressiveness, attacking the defense at all levels.
ACCURACY:
This QB is almost always right on the mark. A consistent delivery, allowing for minimal variations of his arm motion. Very good at picking up the timing and anticipation of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
A deceive passer, who can turn it up with increased acceleration throughout his delivery. His throws are made with increased velocity, getting to his receivers in a hurry.
RELEASE:
A fully extended arm motion which comes out from over the top. A high release point, giving his passes added height.
THROW ON RUN
This is where Tayt works at his best. He gets very creative while on the go, seeking out big plays downfield. Able to adjust the angle of delivery when in tight spaces.
FOOTWORK:
An athletic QB who shows good agility in and out of the pocket.
POISE:
Very calm demeanor within the pocket as he works to assess the defensive coverage. He doesn’t let the outside noise take his away from his game.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He’s calm under pressure, while displaying very good consistency on his throws and good vision downfield.
DECISION MAKING:
Tayt does an excellent job working through his progressions. He uses every option available to him as he goes from his primary down to secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
Excellent touch on his throws that are made within coverage and well as on the deeper routes. He does a nice job adjusting the velocity of his throws.
