SIZE:
Tommy has good size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 6'0" 180 lbs. He works well in the pocket, able to stand tall and fire the ball into the secondary. Shows very good patience as he waits for the play to develop. Should be able to add bulk to his frame over the next year prior to entering the collegiate level.
ACCURACY:
Tommy's able to maintain his accuracy, whether he’s in the pocket or on the run. Excellent body positioning as he sets to delivery the ball. His throws are right on the mark, with good location and timing.
ARM STRENGTH:
Tommy can extend the field with his vertical throws or thread the needle within the secondary. Strong throws with increased acceleration throughout his arm motion.
RELEASE:
Excellent throwing mechanics which are consistent and rhythmic. He throws with an over the top delivery and full arm extension. Able to build strong forward momentum upon release. High release point.
THROW ON RUN:
He works his way to the outside with very good quickness and footwork. He can hurt a defense with his ability to keep a play alive while on the run.
FOOTWORK:
Very agile within the pocket, able to create added space for himself. A play maker on the field who can improvise while on the run. Sharp steps during his drop backs and set ups.
POISE:
Not easily distracted by the noise around him, he thrives on chaos and is very instinctive. Shows good aware of the defensive pressure as he works around it.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility in and around the pocket, able to get away from traffic while seeking out a safe zone for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
He does a nice job working through his options while surveying the field. Able to make smart decisions while on the run.
TOUCH:
Does a nice job adjusting his delivery and he works to create a softer release. His deep passes include solid trajectory with just enough air underneath.
