SIZE:
Travis has very good size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6’2” 200 lbs. He shows good vision downfield as he’s able to create space for himself opening up additional passing lanes for himself. He should be able to add bulk to his frame over the next couple years prior to entering the collegiate level.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, adding a tight spiral upon release. Shows good timing and ball placement as he leads his receivers in stride. Threw for a 65% completion rate this past season.
ARM STRENGTH:
Displays throws that are made with high velocity at the short and intermediate range. Able to extend the field with throws made over defensive coverage.
RELEASE:
Travis throws with an over the top delivery made with a full range arm motion that comes across quickly. He’s able to generate strong momentum all the way through his delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Displays good footwork and mobility as he gets to the outside. Able to square up with his intended targets.
FOOTWORK:
A very athletic QB with fluid steps on his dropbacks and sets up nicely prior to delivery. He demonstrates very good speed out in the open field.
POISE:
Shows confidence in his ability to lead his team down the field. Calm under pressure, able to stay within the play.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility and movement in and around the pocket. Able to maintain his composure while working his way through traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s able to use the entire field as he connects with his targets with decisive throws that get there in a hurry.
TOUCH:
He does a nice job taking something off the ball, adding a softer release. Delivers with a tight trajectory at long range.
