SIZE:>br>Trey has good size for a 2021 Dual Threat QB at 6'0" 160 lbs. He’s a tall and lengthy QB who can fling the ball all over the field with his fully extended release. A tall throwing platform, able to see the entire field from within the pocket.
ACCURACY:
He’s able to get the ball to his receivers with good location and placement. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Trey shows excellent range, able to hit in all areas of the field. A very good vertical passing game, able to extend the field and stretch the defensive coverage.His throws come from a fully extended arm motion, as it comes from over the top generating momentum.
THROW ON RUN:
Good speed and quickness. Displays a fluid motion getting to the outside, while squaring up with his intended target.
FOOTWORK:
Trey's a pure Dual Threat, works best when he’s able to step back and pick up on his best option receiver. Good agility within the backfield, able to escape the incoming pressure while maintaining the play. Shows very good quickness and speed, able to create separation from defenders.
POISE:
Very strong confidence in his abilities as a QB. Has done a great job leading the Varsity team while on the field. Has all of the right tools needed to become an elite QB.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He’s very comfortable within the pocket. Seeks out the weaknesses of a defense and exploits them. Good feel for the space around him.
DECISION MAKING:
Very intelligent QB. Trey's able to work through his progressions, connecting with his best option receiver.
TOUCH:
This is an area of strength for Trey. He delivers the deep ball with perfect trajectory and touch. Just over the outreached arms of the defenders. Displays a soft touch at all levels, getting the ball in between zone coverage.
