SIZE:
Tristan has good size for a 2029 Dual Threat QB at 5'6" 130 lbs. Throws with an over the top delivery, adding lift to the ball’s trajectory. Good toughness on the run, not afraid of contact. Should be able to add some bulk to his frame as he prepares to enter high school in a couple years.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made in-line with his receivers, showing good anticipation of routes along with proper ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws are made with high velocity, getting to his receivers in a hurry. Demonstrates the ability to extend the field with his vertical passing game.
THROW ON RUN:
Tristan's an athletic QB who displays quickness getting to the outside. Works well through his rotation as he squares up with his target.
FOOTWORK:
Does a nice job getting his feet in the proper positioning prior to release. He’s a Dual Threat QB who demonstrates bursts of speed. Good spacing and balance while in his drop backs.
POISE:
Picks up on pressure while working in the space around him.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Displays good agility in the pocket, able to step up or move laterally when space is limited.
DECISION MAKING:
With more game experience, especially at the high school level, Tristan will be able to improve on his ability to go through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Ability to delivery a pass with a soft touch. As he works on his arm strength, it’ll make for a nice complement of his game.
