SIZE:
Tristyn has good size for a 2026 Dual Threat QB at 5’11” 180 lbs. This QB never gives up on a play. He throws with a fully extended arm motion, giving the ball added height upon release.
ACCURACY:
When given the time and space around him, Tristyn's very accurate. He works well within the pocket, adjusting the angle of delivery. A quick hitting QB who gets to ball to his receivers in a hurry.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to make all of the throws required of him. Displaying throws made of high velocity within the secondary. Solid vertical passing game getting the ball up and over coverage.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Adjusts the velocity of delivery, adding three quarter motion when time is limited. Solid footwork prior to set up of delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Most comfortable in the pocket but can also venture out with athletic ability, seeking out potential targets.
FOOTWORK:
Displays good agility in and out of the pocket. A quick first step as he works through the defense. Well balanced stride on his drop backs and set ups.
POISE:
Very calm under pressure while getting the ball off.
POCKET PRESENCE:
This is where Tristyn works best. Has a good feel of the traffic around him and able to create added space for himself. Does a nice job picking up on hidden opportunities.
DECISION MAKING:
Tristyn picks up on his initial reads. Nice work seeking out high percentage opportunities downfield.
TOUCH:
His throws over the middle and on the run include a soft touch, getting the ball in between zone coverage. Tight trajectory on his throws downfield.
