SIZE:
Tucker has very good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 200 lbs. He sits in the pocket with a tall platform. Throws with a high release point, giving his throws added height. He'll continue to add bulk to his frame over these next few year.
ACCURACY:
His throws are on target with his receivers, hitting them in-line whether he’s stationary or on the run. Loses a bit of accuracy at long range.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to generate momentum upon his release, able to increase the velocity of his throws. Able to get the ball to his intended target in a hurry. Would like to see a tighter trajectory at longer distances.
:RELEASE:
Tucker has an over the top delivery with a high release point. It comes across with a fully extended arm extension.
THROW ON RUN:
Very good footwork and quickness as he works his way to the outside. Able to adjust the rotation of his body while getting fixed on his target prior to set up.
FOOTWORK:
Tucker is considered a pure Dual Threat, combining his throwing ability with his running ability. He’s an athletic QB who shows good lateral movement and quickness.
POISE:
He seems very relaxed in the pocket, able to settle in while locking down on his target. He’s gaining confidence in his abilities as a QB, trusting in his skills.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very agile in and around the pocket. He works well in both directions, showing good lateral movement.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s very decisive on his delivery, wasting very little time getting the ball off.
TOUCH:
This is an area of strength for Tucker. He does a nice job adjusting the velocity of his throws for a softer release when needed. Able to get the ball in between coverage.
