SIZE:
Tucker has very good size for a 2027 Dual Threat QB at 6'3" 165 lbs. A tall lengthy QB who continue to add bulk onto his frame. He sits in the pocket with a tall platform. Good length with a fully extended release, giving his throws added lift.
ACCURACY:
His throws are on target with his receivers, hitting them in-line, whether stationary in the pocket or on the run.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s got a tight spin on the ball. High velocity throws with rotational spin. Gets the ball to his intended target in a hurry.
RELEASE:
Tucker continues to work on his throwing mechanics adding a more consistent delivery. An over the top delivery with a high release point.
THROW ON RUN:
A lengthy QB who gets to the outside with good quickness. He’s a long stride runner, able to pick chunks of yards while on the go. Does a nice job squaring up with his target prior to set up.
FOOTWORK:
This will be an area of continual progression. I see Tucker perfecting his skills as a Dual Threat over time, combining his throwing ability with his potential as a legit Dual Threat. He’s an athletic QB who shows good lateral movement and quickness.
POISE:
Very comfortable in the pocket, able to settle in while locking down on his target. Continues to gain confidence in his abilities as a QB, trusting in his skills.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very agile in and around the pocket, showing good lateral movement.
DECISION MAKING:
Very decisive on his delivery, wasting very little time getting the ball off.
TOUCH:
Nice work adjusting the velocity of his throws for a softer release.
