SIZE:
Ty has good size for a 2025 Pro Style QB at 6'2" 175 lbs. He throws with a fully extended arm motion, giving the ball added height upon release. He should be able to add bulk to his frame over these next few years.
ACCURACY:
When given the time and space, his throws are right on the mark. He works well within the pocket, able to survey the field for big plays downfield. Will add to his accuracy by getting his feet set prior to delivery.
ARM STRENGTH:
Ty's able to make all of the throws required of him. Sharp throws made at short and intermediate range. He loses a bit of the velocity on the deeper routes, leaving extra air underneath the ball.
RELEASE:
Delivers the ball with a high release point. He has an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Can work to tighten up on his footwork prior to set up of delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Ty's comfortable in the pocket but can also venture out with his athletic ability, seeking out potential targets.
FOOTWORK:
This will be an area where Ty will be able to perfect over time. He shows good agility in and out of the pocket but I would like to see added speed and quickness to his mobility.
POISE:
He gains more confidence with more game experience. A versatile QB, able to do just about anything on the field. Not afraid to take chances downfield, especially in one-on-one situations.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He has a good feel of the traffic around him while creating space for himself. Does a nice job picking up on hidden opportunities.
DECISION MAKING:
With more game experience at the high school level, he'll be able enhance his ability to read defenses. He does a nice job seeking out his primary target when open.
TOUCH:
His throws over the middle include a soft touch, getting the ball in between zone coverage. Would like to see less air underneath his deeper passes.
