SIZE:
Ty has excellent size for a 2026 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 170 lbs. He throws the ball with full extension and high release point, giving added lift to his delivery.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers routes with good ball placement. Good anticipation of his receivers routes. Very good throwing mechanics which remain consistent at every level. Gets his feet set prior to delivery for added accuracy.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to make all of the required throws with increased velocity. His vertical game is solid, stretching the field with long throws made over coverage.
RELEASE:
Ty has an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Does a nice job adjusting the angle of his delivery when space around him is limited.
THROW ON RUN:
Shows good athleticism while getting to the outside. Able to square up with his receivers, while hitting his targets on the go.
FOOTWORK:
He’s a long stride running QB who can pick up yards in a hurry. Shows good mobility and balance while on the run.
POISE:
A manger on the field who leads his team downfield with play execution. Very calm in the pocket, showing good patience.Avoids incoming pressure, able to set up in the pocket, while creating space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
This is an area of strength for Ty, he’s able to work through his progressions, going from his primary to secondary outlets. Very decisive with his throws.
TOUCH:
He’s able to take off something on his short and intermediate throws, creating a softer touch. Throws made with tight trajectory at longer distances.
