Tyson has good size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 195 lbs. He shows good toughness in the pocket and on the run. A tall presence in the pocket, capable of adding lift to his throws with a high release point.
ACCURACY:
Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Able to place the ball within reach of his receivers. Good ball placement.Consistency is key for Tyson, when he gets set and his throwing motion is on point, his accuracy goes way up.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws include high velocity, reaching his receivers in a hurry. Able to stretch the field with his vertical passing game. Tight trajectory.
RELEASE:
An over the top passer with a high release point. Tyson has a fully extended arm motion, able to get the ball up and over coverage.
THROW ON RUN:
He works to the outside with good speed and quickness and speed. Getting the ball out in front of him as he seeks out a target. Can work to get his body more in-line with his target.
FOOTWORK:
Good mobility in and around the pocket. Would like to see a quicker first step and proper footing prior to delivery.
POISE:
Good patience as he waits for a play to develop. With more game experience, Tyson will continue to gain confidence in his abilities as a QB.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Works well in and around the pocket with good agility. Good feel for the space around him.
DECISION MAKING:
He does a good job seeking out his best option receiver. Works well through his progressions as he locates a potential target.
TOUCH
Very good touch on his throws at every level, creating a softer delivery when the situation calls for it.
