SIZE:
Walker has excellent size for a Pro Style QB at 6’6” 180 lbs. He stands tall in the pocket, able to survey the field for potential targets. With his size, comes a strong arm. A long stride runner who can pick up chunks of yardage while on the run.
ACCURACY:
Walker can get the ball to any location on the field with aggressive throws that are made with precision. He’s able to maintain his accuracy whether its in the pocket or on a roll out. The key to his accuracy comes from his sound throwing mechanics with consistency.
ARM STRENGTH:
His arm strength is never a question. He fires darts into the defensive secondary at high velocity. Can extend the field while delivering bombs downfield. Never losing out on accuracy.An over the top delivery that comes across quickly with continued acceleration upon release. He does a good job getting set up and firing a rocket in all areas of the field.
THROW ON RUN:
Walker's a pure pocket passer who displays excellent mobility getting to the outside and setting up. He shows very good vision downfield as he locks in with a receiver.
FOOTWORK:
An athletic QB who can escape pressure while still maintaining his focus downfield. Well balanced stride on his drop backs.
POISE:
A very confident QB who’s skilled at getting the bal to his receivers. In control of the offensive unit as he leads them downfield. Very comfortable within the pocket, showing patience and poise.
POCKET PRESENCE:
A tall presence in the pocket. Good initial pick up on defensive reads, connecting with his best option receiver.
DECISION MAKING:
Very decisive with his throws, leaving the defenses little time to react.
TOUCH:
His throws include tight trajectory on the deep ball along with a soft release when needed at the short and intermediate range.
