SIZE:
Will has excellent size for a 2026 Pro Style QB at 6'3" 225 lbs. A tall presence in the backfield, able to survey the entire field. Very durable within the pocket with lower body strength. With size comes a strong delivery. Hard throws with increased acceleration and tight spiral.
ACCURACY:
When he sets up for delivery, he’s right on the mark. Good anticipation of his receivers routes. Squares up evenly towards his receivers, making throws in-line with his receivers.
ARM STRENGTH:
This is a major area of strength for Will. He gets good height and distance on his throws. With a long arm extension, he’s able to get the ball up and over coverage. Strong throws made at the short and intermediate range. Tight trajectory of throws made at longer distances, allowing for minimal air underneath.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery, along with a full arm extension. His release point is raised above, giving his throws extra lift.
THROW ON RUN:
Will's an athletic QB who does a nice job getting to the outside, displaying good vision and ability to follow his receivers routes. Good feet placement as he squares up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
Can work to add a quicker first step. Well balanced stride on his dropbacks. Not a running QB but can pick up yardage at shorter distances.
POISE:
Shows good patience as he waits for the play to develop. Not easily distracted by the noise around him, while staying focused on the play.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of incoming pressure and well as the space around him. A tall presence in the backfield with good vision.
DECISION MAKING:
Another area of strength is Will's ability to see the entire field, while making quick decisions. He a quick hitting QB, who wastes very little time connected with his target.
TOUCH:
Does a nice job added a soft touch to his passes made at the intermediate and long range. Tight trajectory on his deep passes.
