Scouting Report

SIZE:
Will has excellent size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 200 lbs. He’s a pure pocket passer who’s uses his height to be able to survey the entire field. A strong armed QB who’s able to make throws in all areas of the field.
ACCURACY:
His throws include good ball location, in-line with his with his receivers. Loses a bit of accuracy at long range.
ARM STRENGTH
He shows very good arm strength, able to make throws of high velocity over the middle.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery, held back with full extension. Shows good footwork on his drop backs and set ups.
THROW ON RUN:
Good lateral movement getting to the outside, as he works to pin down a target. Strong forward momentum upon his release.
FOOTWORK:
He moves well laterally, while creating added space for himself. He shows good speed and quickness, able to serve as a runner on short yard situation. A strong running QB who takes on would be tacklers.
POISE:
Will has been able to gain confidence in his ability to lead at a high level. An athletic QB who also plasy the TE position.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Will's very comfortable as pocket passer, he’s skilled in his ability to throw the ball at certain locations prior to the receiver making his cut. Does a nice job picking up defensive pressure.
DECISION MAKING:
On film, he does a nice job moving from his primary option on down to his secondary with quick reads. He’s very decisive with his delivery, able to pick up on the coverage and hitting his best option.
TOUCH:
He’s a strong throwing QB who can take something off the velocity of his throws for added touch.
