SIZE:
Will has excellent size for a 2025 Pro Style QB at 6'3" 180 lbs. A tall presence in the pocket, able to oversee the line of scrimmage. A lengthy QB who'll continue to add bulk to his frame over these next couple years. A strong armed QB.
ACCURACY:
Does a nice job anticipating his receivers routes, connecting with them with timing and placement. Can work to add consistency to his game for more accuracy.
ARM STRENGTH:
Throws made of high velocity at short and intermediate range. A solid vertical passing game, getting the ball up and over coverage. Throws made in between tight windows of space, threading the needle.
RELEASE:
His throws come from over the top with a high release point. Delivers the ball with a high release point, creating lift.
THROW ON RUN:
For a QB of his size, he displays good mobility to the outside. Solid footwork getting to the outside while squaring up with his target.
FOOTWORK:
Displays good agility within the pocket, stepping up or side stepping incoming pressure. He can work to add overall speed to his game.
POISE:
Strong confidence in his abilities as a QB, not afraid to take chances downfield.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Calm under pressure, not fazed by the noise around him.
DECISION MAKING:
Picks up on his best option receiver on a given play. He does a nice job working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Creates a soft touch when needed, getting the ball in between coverage.
