I am not sure if this is like most kids or not because it has always been a part of me....so when I say this -I REALLY mean it....but ALL I have ever wanted since as long as I can remember is to play college football. I was raised with a ball in my hand as soon as I could walk then playing football, basketball and baseball from the time I was 4. My uncles were strength and football coaches growing up in our local hometown team. I was always allowed to meet and be around the players such as D'Angelo Williams that went on to play in the NFL. I was blessed (because of my uncles) to get to run out of the tunnel with them/the players onto the field from age 2 - 10. I KNEW what it felt like to run onto the field and to be a part of a winning team from my early years and I want nothing else for the rest of my years to play! I love the feeling of being a part of a team and being a leader to my teammates...it drives me, it motivates me, it calls to me. We have a large family and I am one of the oldest so I enjoy teaching my younger brothers about sports or rebounding for them. Our entire family also enjoys watching games together on the weekend or tailgating before game time of the home games. We are also actively involved in our church as a family and we serve at our local Ronald McDonald House for St.Jude families from all over the world. Scouting Report

SIZE:
Zach has very good size for a 2021 Dual Threat QB at 6’1” 180 lbs. Throws with a tall platform, showing very good vision downfield. Has an over the top delivery which adds height to his throws. Very calm under pressure.
ACCURACY:
His throwing mechanics are sound and consistent. Able to square up as he pivots in the direction of his receivers prior to delivery. His timing and anticipation of his receivers routes help to up his accuracy with good ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
Zach's has a solid vertical passing game, extending the field with his bombs downfield. He can also get the ball out to his receivers at short and intermediate in a hurry.
RELEASE:
A over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion that comes across quickly. High release point for added height to his throws.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who does a nice job getting to the outside with good quickness and footwork. Shows good body rotation as he lines up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
He’s comfortable as a pocket passer but can also switch it up and serve as a Dual Threat. Nice footwork on his dropbacks, with balanced stride.
POISE:
He's a fierce competitor who plays above the competition. Very relaxed in the pocket, allowing for the play to dictate his decision making.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of the space around him, able to pick up on defensive pressure with the ability to step up in the pocket or move laterally.
DECISION MAKING:
His throws are made with good judgment, delivering quick strikes, allowing the defense minimal time to react.
TOUCH:
An area of major strength for Zach, is his ability to create a softer release when needed. Getting the ball over zone coverage. Solid trajectory on his deep passes.
