Zach has very good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6’0” 185 lbs. A strong armed QB who likes to attack a defense at longer distances. A legit Dual Threat who can take it in for a long gain. Runs a 4.55/40.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, allowing them to make a play on it. He can hit on anywhere on the field. Whether it comes from on the run or in the pocket, he shows good accuracy.
ARM STRENGTH:
Displays good range, able to get the ball up and over coverage or can squeeze it in between zone coverage. His vertical is deadly because of the threat of his speed and quicknes on the run.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with an arm motion that comes from way back, giving his throws longer reach. Good body positionong and footwork prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
Zach's an athletic QB who’s able to get to the outside in a hurry. Holds many weapons to his arsenal, which can spell trouble for defenses.
FOOTWORK:
He’s very hard to contain once he breaks free. Shows good vision and toughness while on the run.
POISE:
Good awareness of incoming pressure while moving away from the traffic. Demonstrates good patience in the pocket, waiting for his receivers to complete their routes.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Zach's comfortable in the pocket whether setting up for deliver or waiting to make a break. Able to step up in the pocket or move laterally when needed.
DECISION MAKING:
With more game expereince he'll continue to add to his game while working through his progressions. Very decisive with his throws.
TOUCH:
Displays a soft release in all areas of the field. He’s skilled at taking something off the velocity of his throws for a softer delivery.
