SIZE:
Zaire has good size of a 2027 QB at 5’8" 161 lbs. A tall platform, throws the ball at a high release point. He displays good vision downfield as he surveys the field.
ACCURACY:
His throws are right on the mark, in-line with his receivers. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Solid ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
Throws are made with a tight spiral and high velocity at the short and intermediate range. Will need to work to lower the trajectory of his throws made at long range.
RELEASE:
Zaire throws with an over the top delivery, creating added height. Solid footing prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
This will be an area he'll continue to improve on, adding speed and quickness to his game. Does a nice job getting himself in-line with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
Good agility within the pocket. Moves well laterally as he works to create open passing lanes for himself.
POISE:
Good patience as he stays focused on the play. With more game experience he'll add to his confidence as a QB.
POCKET PRESENCE:
This will be an area of improvement for Zaire. Working on his internal clock and he feels the pressure around him. More game experience will only help, putting himself in pressured situaions.
DECISION MAKING:
Good initial reads, picking up on his primary target.
TOUCH:
Displays a very nice touch on his short and intermediate throws. Will need to work on his deep passes by lower the trajectory of his throws, allowing less air underneath.
