Safdar has very good size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 6'1" 186 lbs. He stands tall in the pocket able to survey the field for potential targets. A strong running QB with good lower body strength, able to take on would-be tacklers. Throws with a high release point.
His throws are in-line with his receivers, hitting them while in stride. When given the time and space to set up, he's very accurate. Loses a bit of accuracy while on the run.
Safdar can hit in all areas of the field with a strong follow through. Able to stretch the defense with his vertical game, creating more opportunities at closer range.
He throws with an over the top delivery and a high release point. Able to generate momentum throughout his arm motion, creating greater velocity.
THROW ON RUN:
Displays very good mobility and quickness on the go, surveying the field for potential targets. Very dangerous out in the open field. Can improve on squaring his body towards his target and positioning his feet in that direction.
He’s a pure Dual Threat, able to work the option to perfection as he breaks free into the secondary. A quick footed QB who can get through the secondary in a hurry. Above average speed out in the open field, able to create separation.
He’s very confident in his abilities as a QB and shows calm while in pressured situations.
Good awareness of defensive pressure, able to set up in the pocket or break out to create added space for himself. Very agile QB, who does a nice job working through traffic.
Safdar works the entire field, seeking out big play opportunities. He’s got many weapons at his disposable and can be quite deadly while on the go. A play maker on the field.
A very good touch pass QB, able to ease of the velocity of his throws, while creating for a softer release.
