Michael has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 5'1" 86 lbs. A very talented QB who can do just about anything on the field. He works well in and around the pocket, able to create added space for himself. He throws with good arm strength and is a tough running QB.
His throws are made with sharp precision, able to thread the needle in between zone coverage. Doesn’t lose much accuracy while on the run, showing good body rotation and follow through.
Michael's throws are made of high velocity, able to get to his receivers in a hurry. His delivery includes a fully extended arm motion, allowing for increased acceleration on his follow through. His vertical game is solid, making throws with good trajectory and range, able to get it up and over coverage.
Throws with an over the top delivery and a fully extended arm motion. A quick flick of the wrist allows for the ball to be out in a hurry. Throws with a high release point, giving his throws added height. Very good throwing mechanics.
This is where Michael’s game raises to another level. He’s a pure Dual Threat, able to work outside with very good speed and quickness. He’s very dangerous out in the open field with the ability to seek out targets or take it in for a long gain.
Michael’s a natural athlete, showing good agility in and out of the pocket. He’s able to create separation with defenders while on the run with elusiveness and speed. Shows excellent footwork on his drop backs and setups.
At such a young age, Michael is well on his way of becoming an elite QB. He’ll be able to polish up on his skills over these next couple years as he prepares for the high school level. Displays calm under pressure, able to block out the noise around him.
Michael has gained valuable experience during the off season working in 7on7 tourneys, able to better his ability to go through his progressions. This will be an area of continued improvement.
His deep passes include solid trajectory in-line with his receivers. Will be able to work on his short game, allowing for a softer release when needed
