My name is Ty Furr. I am a 2019 graduate at Coconino High School in Flagstaff Arizona. I have a goal and this is to play football at the college level. I work hard on the football field and in the classroom to make this dream a reality. I come from a small town in Northern Arizona and I believe this makes me a better-rounded athlete. I have always understood that coming from a small town I have to work that much harder to be noticed. My sophomore year I played multiple positions on the Varsity team, such as QB, WR, RB, Strong Safety and I also was our punt and kickoff returner. Coach Smith put me in situations to make things happen! You can see from my video I possess the skill set to play these multiple positions. I play to win!!! I believe in getting as many yards after contact and I will do what is necessary to give my teammates and the team the best opportunity to win! I am going into my junior year I will be playing Quarterback and I will be used as a run/option style quarterback. I have speed, a strong arm and the knowledge of the game to be successful at this position. I am also a gym rat, when I am not on the field working on my skills I am in the gym working on my strength and speed. I am coachable and I have a strong character. I understand the commitment that is needed on and off the field to be a collegiate athlete. After completing my sophomore year on Varsity I was voted 1st Team All-Region Kick Returner and 2nd Team All-Region Wide Receiver. I hold a G.P.A of 3.5 and put in the hard work in the classroom. I understand that the classroom is just as important as being a great athlete on the field. I hope that you take a strong look at my profile and my video and that you consider me to be part of your program. I know I can help your team win! Thank you.

Ty has excellent size for a 2019 Dual Threat QB at 6’0” 185 lbs. He plays at a high level on the field, a standout talent who's very versatile, able to play many positions if needed (QB, RB, WR, SS) also served as a return player. Shows very good footwork and agility while on the run, well balanced lower body strength. A strong running QB, taking on would be tacklers for added yards.
His throws are in-line with his receivers, allowing for them to make a play on it. Shows good range, able to hit in all areas of the field. Works best while on the run, able to assess the entire field but would like to see sharper footwork prior to set up and full body rotation. This will improve his overall accuracy.
This is an area of strength for Ty. He can make every throw expected of him. Increased accelerated arm motion, allows for throws made with high velocity at the short and intermediate range. Very effective vertical passing game, with strong throws that extend the field.
Very skilled at making the right adjustments on the angle of his throws, depending on the passing situation. He can work with a fully extended arm motion or can take it down to a tight three quarter delivery for a tighter quicker release.
Ty can do just about anything on the field because of his athleticism. He displays quickness and speed getting to the outside and is very good at picking up potential targets.
He's a north-south runner, picking up positive gains while out in the open field. Very mobile within the pocket, able to avoid the pass rush while getting out of traffic. Can work to improve on his drop backs and prior to set up.
Ty's able to make something out of nothing, a playmaker. He takes advantage of what the defense gives him. Works quickly out of the pocket, showing good vision downfield for possible targets.
Very agile within the pocket, able to create added space for himself. Good sense of the traffic around him while keeping focused on the play. Would like to see him show more patience in the pocket, staying with the play all the way through before taking off on the run.
He’s very good at working through his progressions, going from his primary targets down to his secondary outlets. At times he throws the ball into tight coverage.
Ty does a nice job making the right adjustments on the velocity of his throws, creating a softer touch when needed.
