SIZE:
Bryce has good size for a 2020 Pro Style QB at 6'0" 178 lbs. He’s a quick hitting QB, able to get the ball out in a hurry. Good agile within the pocket and throws with a high release point. Will be able to add bulk to his frame over the next couple years as he prepares for the collegiate level.
ACCURACY:
His throws are right on the mark, hitting his receivers while in stride. Able to work within tight areas of space, making the adjustments needed to his delivery. Shows solid ball placement and touch.
ARM STRENGTH:
Bryce can hit in all areas of the field with strong throws. His short and intermediate throws include high velocity passes that rip through zone coverage. Able to stretch the defense with his vertical game. Can work to improve on the trajectory of his deep passes.
RELEASE:
Very good throwing mechanics which are well balanced and consistent. He throws with an over the top delivery, with a fully extended arm motion. A compact delivery when needed, which allows for the ball to come out quickly.
THROW ON RUN:
He’s able to work inside as a pocket passer or get to the outside to deliver a strike. Displays very good mobility and quickness while surveying the field.
FOOTWORK:
A quick footed QB who can get through the secondary in a hurry. Strong running QB, picking up the tough yards.
POISE:
He’s very confident in his abilities as a QB and shows calm while in pressured situations.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of defensive pressure, able to set up in the pocket or break out to create added space for himself. Very agile QB, who does a nice job while in traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
Bryce works the entire field, seeking out big play opportunities. A quick thinker who serves as a play maker on the field.
TOUCH:
A very good touch passer, able to ease of the velocity of his throws, while creating a softer delivery in and around zone coverage. Does a nice job getting the ball over the line on bubble screens, adding a soft release.
