SIZE:
Will has excellent size for a 2020 Pro Style QB at 6'3" 215 lbs. He’s a hard running QB who takes on would be tacklers with toughness. Very good vision down field as he locates his primary targets. Shows very good patience in the pocket as he waits for the play to develop.
ACCURACY:
Throws with precision and timing overt the middle and at short range. Able to hit his receivers while in stride with good ball placement
ARM STRENGTH:
Will shows good velocity on this throws, hitting his targets over the middle and in between zone coverage. He can hit all areas of the field with throws that get to his receivers in a hurry.Can work to improve on the trajectory of his deep passes.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top release with a fully extended arm motion. The ball comes across quickly with good forward momentum. Solid footwork prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
Will’s an athletic QB who can get to the outside in a hurry. Very fluid with his movement, allowing for an efficient stride. Shows good forward momentum on his release.
FOOTWORK:
Shows good agility in and around the pocket. A strong running QB who can serve as a Dual Threat in certain passing situations. Displays good speed and toughness.
POISE:
Will's not easily distracted by the noise around him. Very comfortable in the pocket. Able to work quickly as he leads his team down field.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Shows very good patience while executing the plays. He does a nice job picking up defense pressure.Able to work from his primary receivers on down to his secondary outlets. Throws make in tight coverage deep downfield.
TOUCH:
He a strong passer who can also make the proper adjustments needed of his throws to add a softer touch. Can work to improve on the trajectory of his deep passes.
