Hunter has very good size for a 2023 Pro Style QB at 5'11" 146 lbs. He stands in tall in the pocket, showing good patience and toughness. He works within a spread formation offense, able to deliver quick hitters. Does a nice job picking up on defensive coverage while locating his primary target.
He displays very good accuracy in his short and intermediate game and drops off slightly on his deeper passes. His throws are made with sharp precision, able to get the ball to hi receivers in a hurry.Threw for a 70% completion rate last season.
Hunter throws with a quick release, delivering high velocity throws at short and intermediate range. Able to thread the needle within zone coverage. He’s got a solid vertical game, able to go long when the opportunity strikes.
Hunter's throws are make with an over the top delivery with a full arm extension. Can work to get his footwork down on his drop backs. Solid base when delivering the ball.

Hunter's most comfortable within the pocket but can get to the outside when needed. Strong forward momentum upon his release.

This is where Hunter is most comfortable. He sets up in a hurry, while showing good patience as he waits for the play to develop. Good awareness of defensive pressure and using his internal clock to get the ball off on time.
Hunter's an intelligent QB who’s able to pick up on his best option receiver. With more game experience, he'll be able to work quickly through his progressions, going from his primary target down to his secondary outlets.
A hard throwing QB at the short and intermediate range while in the pocket. He’s able to work in a soft delivery when needed, getting it in between zone coverage.
