Cameron has excellent size for a 2020 Dual Threat QB at 6’4” 225 lbs. He has a strong built, not easily able to take down, very good durability. He’s an athletic QB who’s a play maker on the field.
His throws show good precision, hitting his receivers while in stride. His throws include a tight spiral, getting to his receivers in a hurry. Good timing and anticipation of receivers routes. Loses a bit on accuracy at long range.
Cameron's throws at the short and intermediate route includes high velocity, firing it into tight windows of space within the secondary. Good forward momentum on his throws make while on the run.
An over the top delivery with a three quarter compact release which comes across in a hurry. He does a nice job adjusting the angles of his delivery when in tight spaces.
Cameron's an athletic QB who can get to the outside with good footwork. He’s a passer first, choosing to run as a last resort. Shows very good patience and calm. Good vision downfield.
He’s got good speed and quickness while on the run. A strong running QB who takes on would be tackles for added yardage gain. Good spacing and stride on his set ups.
Shows good confident in his abilities as a QB. He got a taste of serving as a Varsity starter in the final two games of the season. He’s not easily distracted by the pressure around him, stays focused and determined to complete the play.
He wastes very little time getting the ball to his receivers, very decisive. Sometimes delivers the ball in tight coverage, counting on his receivers to make a play on the ball.
Has shown improvement with the touch of his passes, adjusting the velocity of his throws. He does a nice job while on the run, taking something off the ball for a softer delivery over zone coverage. His deep throws can include a tighter trajectory with less air underneath.
