After high school I want to attend college on an academic and athletic scholarship. I want to earn my degree and be the best football player in my position as well as the best teammate I can be. What makes me a good candidate is the fact that I am coachable, determined to win at all costs, and put the team before my own wants and needs. As far as character, I am not the kind of person to go out and cause trouble or bring shame to my team or family because my focus is on my academics and becoming the best student of the game by studying my playbook.

James has very good size of a 2021 QB at 5’9" 218 lbs. A tall presence in the backfield, throws the ball at a high release point. He displays good vision downfield as he surveys the field. Should be able to improve on his agility while increasing his strength over the next few years with the proper strength and conditioning programs.
Shows good accuracy at the short and intermediate range, loses a bit at longer range. He shows good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Good ball location.
He displays throws that include a tight spiral and strong velocity at the short and intermediate range. Will need to work on the trajectory of his deep passed, allowing for less air underneath.
Very good throwing mechanics, and proper footwork prior to release. James throws with an over the top delivery, creating added height.
THROW ON RUN:
James moves well to the outside, overseeing the field for potential targets. He does a nice job rotating his body as he squares up with his receivers.
Continues to improve in this attribute, showing good agility within the pocket. He moves well laterally as he works to create open passing lanes for himself.
He’s come a long way this off-season and gaining confidence week after week. He shows good patience as he remains focused executing the play.
This will be an area of improvement for James. Working on his internal clock and he feels the defensive pressure around him. More game experience will only help, especially at the high school level.
James is a very intelligent QB who works well through his progressions. His experience during 7on7 play this off-season has really helped to get that timing down.
Displays a very nice touch on his short and intermediate throws. Will need to work on his deep passes by lower the trajectory of his throws, allowing less air underneath.
