Terrance has very good size for a 2019 Dual Threat QB at 6’1” 190 lbs. He’s a strong armed QB who shows good toughness while on the run. Very difficult to contain within the backfield, able to open up additional passing lanes.
He shows very good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Able to place the ball in reach of his targets, allowing them to make a play on it. Good ball placement. He does lose some accuracy while on the run, not able to set up properly due to pressure.
His throws include high velocity, reaching his receivers in a hurry. Including a quick snap of the wrist, he’s able to gain momentum upon his release.
An over the top passer with a high release point. He does a nice job making the right adjustments to the angle of delivery. Terrance displays proper throwing mechanics with given time to set up. Demonstrates solid footwork prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
He works to the outside with good quickness and speed. Getting the ball out in front of him as he seeks out a target. A true Dual Threat who can turn it up at any moment. Very dangerous out in the open field.
This is a major strength for Terrance. He’s very athletic, able to make plays while on the go. He gets into the secondary with a burst of speed and moves quickly through the secondary.
He's able to pick up on defensive pressure, not fazed by the noise around him. Not easily distracted when executing a play.
Very difficult to contain within the pocket. Works well in and around the pocket with good agility. Good feel for the space around him. I would like to see him stay within the pocket longer as the play fully develops vs breaking free.
He does a good job seeking out his best option receiver. I like his aggressiveness out on the field, attacking the defense on every play.
Very good touch on his deep passes with solid trajectory. Can work to improve on creating a softer release on passes made at the short and intermediate range.
