The offseason has been tremendous for 2024 quarterback Jadyn Glasser. Making the transfer in schools from South Plantation High School in South Florida to Venice High School (Venice, Fla.) and playing with national powerhouse 7-on-7 team South Florida Express, Glasser (6-2, 215) has been moving up college boards in a hurry. Three offers are down with Power Five scouts picking up interest.

Glasser updates his recruitment fresh off his visit with the Louisville Cardinals.

“The visit went well,” Glasser said. “They said I look bigger in person. They loved that they had me there and talked about getting me back up for another visit. They said that they are going to send their QB coach, coach (Brian) Brohm, and coach (Mark) Ivey (AC) down for my spring practice.”

More details to the visit were provided, “We took pictures, saw the campus, the dorms, where I would live, we had position meetings, watched them practice, and we ate.”

Getting to see the Cardinals practice, Glasser shared his thoughts, “It was good. They get intense out there.”

Glasser shared some takeaways from watching Louisville practice.

“I learned how intense it is,” Glasser stated. “It is really cut-throat out there. As a quarterback, I learned that you have to know everything that is going on, and there is a lot going on. Your whole life revolves around football.”

Leading up to the Louisville visit, Glasser has made spring stops at UCF, Georgia, Arizona State, South Florida, and Miami.

The time in Orlando with the Knights was covered.

“It went well,” Glasser said. “I talked to their QB coach (Darin Hinshaw), he said that he watched my film and liked it.”

The March visit with the Knights is likely leading to a return visit again in April. Another return visit may also happen in Tampa with South Florida.

“Their coaches want to get the Venice kids back up to USF to further build the relationship,” Glasser shared.

During the 2022 season, Glass amassed 3,129 total yards with 40 touchdowns.
