SIZE:
KJ has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 5'11" 185 lbs. A multi-versatile player on the field. Can do just about everything. His quickness in step allows him to use the entire field. Throws with a high release point, giving his throws added height.
ACCURACY:
When given the time and spacing, he's right on. Throws made with a tight spiral. Remains consistent wjhile on the run.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to hit on all areas of the field, with strong throws made with increased velocity, especially at the short and intermediate range. Able to extend the field with his vertical passing game.
RELEASE:
He throws with a classic over the top delivery, which is fully extended and comes across quickly with strong forward acceleration.
THROW ON RUN:
This is where KJ works best, out in the open field. Able to switch from a passer to a runner at any given moment.
FOOTWORK:
Very good speed and quickness out in the open field. Displaying elusiveness and shiftiness and he maneuvers around the defense. Solid footwork on his dropbacks and setups.
POISE:
A very confident QB who set the tone on the field with his ability to control the game. Very confident in his abilities to lead his team downfield.
POCKET PRESENCE:
KJ's very difficult to contain within the backfield, showing very good agility and movement. Picks up the defensive pressure quickly while doing a nice job stepping up in the pocket.
DECISION MAKING:
KJ's a quick thinker, able to get the ball off in a hurry. He works all of his receiver options, locating the one with the best opportunity for positive gain.
TOUCH:
Very nice touch pass for a Dual Threat QB, especially while on the run.
