SIZE:
Cole has very good size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 6'2" 190 lbs. He has the potential of being the complete package. Tall platform in the pocket, with an over the top delivery and fully extended arm motion. Adds extra height to his throws with a high release point.
ACCURACY:
Shows good precision on his passes while stationary in the pocket but doesn’t lose much on accuracy while on the run. He does a nice job getting his steps down before he sets up for a pass.
ARM STRENGTH:
This QB can let it rip at anytime, showing off high velocity throws throughout the field. He can fire it into tight windows of space or let it fly on deeper routes. Many weapons to his arsenal.
RELEASE:
Cole has an over the top release with a fully extended arm motion, gaining added momentum to his delivery. He’s able to adjust the angle of his delivery when space is limited and timing is imperative.
THROW ON RUN:
This is where Cole is most dangerous, on the go. He’s a very athletic QB who can can it in or hit a target while on the fly. He’s a playmaker with the ability to take over a game.
FOOTWORK:
He’s very quick out in the open field with a burst of speed, creating separation. He works the entire field, showing excellent vision while on the run.
POISE:
He controls the tempo of the game, with the ability to turn it up at any moment. Very confident in his abilities as a Dual Threat.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good sense of the traffic around him, able to clear space for himself. Very comfortable roaming the pocket while waiting for a potential target to appear.
DECISION MAKING:
Cole works best while on the fly. He’s able to improvise, and make sometime happen from nothing. A quick-thinking QB who wastes very little time getting the ball out.
TOUCH:
Does a great job his his receivers in between zone coverage with his tough passes. Displays a tight trajectory on his deep passes.
