SIZE:
Nevan has very good size for a 2025 Pro Style QB at 6'2" 195 lbs. He’s a playmaker on the field, able to control the pace of the game. Good toughness in the pocket. Throws with a tall platform in the pocket, able to add lift to his delivery.
ACCURACY:
This is an area of strength for Nevan. He's a precision passer with very good timing of his receivers routes. Able to place the ball in reach of his targets, allowing them to make a play on it. Excellent ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws include high velocity, getting to his receivers in a hurry. With a quick snap of the wrist, he’s able to gain momentum upon his release.
RELEASE:
An over the top passer with a high release point. Nevan displays proper throwing mechanics with predictable consistency. Solid footwork prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
He works to the outside with good quickness and speed. Getting the ball out in front of him as he seeks out a target. Can serve as a running QB with good vision and toughness. Very dangerous on the run.
FOOTWORK:
He’s very athletic, able to make big time plays with his feet. Does a great job side stepping incoming pressure while creating added space for himself.
POISE:
Give him high marks for this attribute, he’s as calm as they get. Not easily distracted when executing a play. Very good patience as he waits for a play to develop.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very difficult to contain within the pocket. Works well in and around the pocket with good agility. Good feel for the space around him.
DECISION MAKING:
He does a good job seeking out his best option receiver. Already able to work through his progressions at such a young age.
TOUCH
Very good touch on his throws at every level; short, intermediate, and long. Does a nice job adjusting the angle of his delivery when in tight space areas.
