SIZE:
AJ has good size for a 2027 Dual Threat QB at 5'8" 160 lbs. An athletic QB who's got the skills to become a legit Dual Threat. Displays good mobility and quickness while on the run.
ACCURACY:
He delivers a catchable ball, one made on tight rotational spin. Good timing of his receivers' routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can hit on all areas of the field, showing good strength in arm. High velocity throws at short/intermediate range.
RELEASE:
AJ works with an over the top delivery. He gets the ball out quickly with a compact arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
This will be an area AJ will need to improve on and add to his game. He can make throws in the pocket and is quite elusive out in the open field. Just needs to put it all together.
FOOTWORK:
Solid footwork on his dropbacks and setups. Excellent speed at a 4.7/40. He works away from would-be tacklers with spins and cuts.
POISE
An athletic QB who can be quite dangerous once he's agle to perfect his craft.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Nice work picking up on pressure while making space for himself. Would like to see him stay in the pocket longer with more patience.
DECISION MAKING:
A reactive player who displays quick instincts on the go. With more game experience, he'll be able to work through his progressions.
TOUCH:
AJ's able to locate gaps within coverage, delivering a softer toss.
