SIZE:
Andrew has good size for a 2028 Pro Style QB at 5’9” 136 lbs. Good vision downfield, locating his primary target with high percentage results. A fully extended arm motion, giving the ball added lift upon release. He'll continue to add bulk onto his frame as he progresses as a high school QB.
ACCURACY:
When given the time and space around him, Andrew's very accurate. He works well within the pocket for added space. Threw for a 87% completion rate this past season.
ARM STRENGTH:
Andrew's able to make all of the throws required of him. Displaying throws made of high velocity within coverage. He loses a bit of the velocity on the deeper routes, leaving some extra air underneath.
RELEASE:
A high release point. He has an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Solid footwork prior to set up of delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Andrew's most comfortable in the pocket but can also venture out with his athletic ability and seek out potential targets.
FOOTWORK:
This will be an area where Kyle will be able to perfect over time. He shows good agility in and out of the pocket but I would like to see increased speed and quickness added to his mobility. He does a very good job with his drop backs and set ups.
POISE:
He'll gain added confidence with more game experience. A versatile QB who takes what the defense gives him. Not afraid to take chances downfield.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good feel of the space around him. Uses the backfield as his work area.
DECISION MAKING:
With more game reps, he'll be able enhance his ability to read defenses. Does a nice job seeking out primary target when open.
TOUCH:
His throws over the middle include a soft touch, getting the ball in between zone coverage. Would like to see less air underneath his deeper passes and can ease off the velocity on his short routes, bubble screens.
