Scouting Report

SIZE:
Atley has very good size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’2” 170 lbs. Plays well above the level of competition. He stands in the pocket with a tall platform, able to survey the entire field. A tall and lengthy QB who’ll continue to add bulk to his frame over these next few years. High release point which gives his throws added height.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, displaying sharp precision made at short and intermediate range. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
With size comes an extended arm motion and long distance throws. High velocity throws made over the middle. Strong vertical passing game.
RELEASE:
Throws with a classic over the top delivery and high release point. Solid footwork on his drop backs and set ups.
THROW ON RUN:
Atley's an athletic QB who can get to the outside with fluid movement. Displays strong forward momentum upon delivery as he fires the ball toward his intended targets.
FOOTWORK:
Much improved on his footwork. Adding quickness in step and speed out in the open field. Longer leg stride, able to pick up yardage in a hurry.
POISE:
Continues to grow as a QB, gaining more confidence in his abilities. Shows good patience in the backfield, waiting on his receivers breaks.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Well balanced footwork on his drop backs. Very consistent in his delivery. Able to execute the play from beginning to end.
DECISION MAKING:
Able to locate his primary target. Throws made without hesitation.
TOUCH:
This is Atley's best attribute. Very good touch on the deeper routes, displaying a tight trajectory with just enough air underneath the ball.
