“Leaders are made, they are not born. They are made by hard effort, which is a price which all must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile” Vince Lombardi. I live by this quote, on and off the field. There is not one day that goes by that I am not working on perfecting my craft.

Scouting Report

SIZE:
Ben has very good size for a 2025 Dual Threat QB at 6’1” 196 lbs. A versatile QB who can effectively transfer from a pocket passer to a dual threat. High extension of his release point, giving added height to his throws.
ACCURACY:
He’s able to make throws that are right on target with his receivers. Does a nice job leading the receivers with good ball placement and timing.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws over the middle are on a rope, with high velocity. Able to extend the field with a strong arm while hitting his receivers in stride.
RELEASE:
Ben throws the ball with a classic over the top delivery with full extension. This allows for the ball to get out quickly, giving the defense very little time to react.
THROW ON RUN:
Very comfortable in the backfield, whether its as a pocket passer or rolling out on the run. He shows good positioning of the ball and solid footwork. Squares up nicely with his intended target.
FOOTWORK:
He’s an athletic QB who shows good movement and agility. Very good footwork on his drop backs and also prior to set ups.
POISE:
Picks up defensive pressure while developing a secondary plan.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good patience and awareness in and around the pocket. Very good lateral movement, able to escape the pressure and create something on his own.
DECISION MAKING:
With more game experience, Ben will pick up on defensive reads while working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
This is an area of strength for Ben. He can dial it up with high velocity throws or ease off for a softer delivery.
