Bennett has very good size for a 2029 Pro Style QB at 6'0" 150 lbs. A multi sport athlete who's very versatile. His throws include a fully extended release, allowing for added height to his delivery. A playmaker with great instincts.
ACCURACY:
This is a strength area for Bennett, his throwing mechanics and footwork remain consistent whether he’s set in the pocket or on the run. This ups his accuracy with sharp throws made with precision. Good timing and ball placement. Threw for a 73% completion rate this past season.
ARM STRENGTH:
A strong armed QB who can hit in all areas of the field. He can fire it into tight windows of space or open up things with his vertical passing game.
RELEASE:
High release point which comes across over the top with a fully extended arm motion. Very good footwork prior to set up, good spacing and balance.
THROW ON RUN:
Bennett doesn’t lose much while on the run. His throws are still on target. Gets to the outside in a hurry with long stride, while firing it towards his target.
FOOTWORK:
Displays very good athleticism on the field, able to do just about anything. A playmaker who can improvise while on the go.
POISE:
Good control of the offensive unit while leading them downfield. A confident QB who trusts in his abilities. Not easily fazed by the noise around him.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He’s skilled at moving around in the backfield, creating added space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
Works well through his throwing progressions, from primary to secondary outlets. An intelligent QB who understands the game.
TOUCH:
His deep passes includes tight trajectory with just enough air.
