Bode has very good size for a 2029 Pro Style QB at 5'6" 120 lbs. He's a pure pocket passer with sound throwing mechanics.
ACCURACY:
He throws with sharp precision, hitting his receivers while in stride. Threw for a 64% completion rate last season. His throws include a tight spiral, making for a catchable ball. Good timing and anticipation of receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws reach all areas of the field. He can fire it into tight windows of space with high velocity throws. Able to extend the field with long throws made downfield.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with full extension. Very consistent throwing motion.
THROW ON RUN:
He’s a passer first, choosing to run as a last resort. Displays good patience and calm as he waits for his receiver to get open.
FOOTWORK:
Good spacing and stride on his set ups. Can work to improve on his speed and quickness in step.
POISE:
Very confident in his abilities as a QB while leading his team downfield. Stays focused.
DECISION MAKING:
Bode wastes very little time getting the ball to his receivers. Decisive with his throws, showing good judgment and ball placement.
TOUCH:
Tight trajectory on his deep passes, able to add touch to his vertical throws. Also does a nice job reducing the velocity of his throws, creating a softer release at short and intermediate range.
