SIZE:
Boston has very good size for a 2028 Pro Style QB at 5'11" 150 lbs. A tall presence in the pocket, able to see the entire field. An athletic QB who plays well above the level of competition.
ACCURACY:
He's got a quick release with throws made with tight rotational spin. Sharp precision passing at short/intermediate range. Loses a bit on accuracy at longer distance.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can make every throw expected of him. An increased accelerated arm motion allows for throws to be made of high velocity. Effective vertical passing game with throws made over coverage.
RELEASE:
Boston's skilled at adjusting on the angle of his delivery when in tight spaces. An over the top passer who can go from a fully extended arm motion, down to a tight three quarter delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Displays quickness and speed getting to the outside while picking up on a potential target.
FOOTWORK:
Classified as a Pro Style QB but can take the ball in on running plays when needed. He’s a long stride runner who can pick up chunks of yardage in a hurry. Shows good footwork on his dropbacks and prior to set up.
POISE:
Boston has good awareness of the incoming pressure around him. Able to create added space for himself. Very confident in his QB abilities while leading his team downfield.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good sense of the traffic around him while keeping focused on the play. Solid footwork on his dropbacks and setups.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s a quick thinking QB who’s capable of reading the defense and locating his best option receiver.
TOUCH:
Nice work easing off the velocity of his delivery, creating a softer touch when needed.
