Braden has very good size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6'1" 205 lbs. This QB is very polished. Has a very good understanding of the game with a high intellect. Very good throwing mechanics which remain consistent at every angle. Tall platform with a high release point.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with sharp precision, able to pick apart a defense which gets caught sleeping. Good timing and anticipation of his receivers routes. Threw for a 70% completion rate last season.
ARM STRENGTH:
Able to hit in all areas of the field. Braden displays the ability to stretch the field with a legit vertical passing or can fire it in between tight windows of space.
RELEASE:
Excellent throwing mechanics, able to keep a consistent motion, allowing for more accurate passing. He throws with an over the top delivery and fully extended arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
A pure pocket passer with the athleticism to work outside with fluid mobility. He's a playmaker on the field seeking out big play opportunities downfield.
FOOTWORK:
Displays good speed and quickness, capable of serving as a running QB when needed. Sets up nicely in the pocket with proper spacing and rhythm.
POISE:
A proven winner. He’s a confident QB who trusts in his abilities as a leader. He shows good patience while waiting for a play to develop.
DECISION MAKING:
Braden's very good at working through his progressions, primary to secondary outlets. He’s perfecting this craft while competing in 7on7 play.
TOUCH:
This is area of strength, able to take something off the velocity of his throws to create a softer touch. Does an good job working the ball in between zone coverage
