SIZE:
Braylan has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6'1" 195 lbs. This QB can do just about anything on the field with his versitle skills. Smooth transition from a pocket passer to a dual threat. Very patient in the pocket, taking the hit soon after release.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with sharp precision, hitting his targets in stride. Very good following routes while anticipating location. Very consistent delivery, adding to his accuracy.
ARM STRENGTH:
Braylan throws darts all over the field. He's a sniper, hitting his targets with high velocity throws. Able to extend the field, getting the ball up and over the top.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery, arm fully pulled back. Able to generate added momentum and increased velocity through his arm motion. Very good footwork on his dropbacks and set ups.
THROW ON RUN:
He’s very dangerous out in the open field. Able to get to the outside with good speed and mobility. Does a nice job turning it up as he squares up toward his target.
FOOTWORK:
Braylan’s an athletic QB who serves as a Dual Threat with quickness and elusiveness. Very difficult to contain within the backfield, good agility and escapability.
POISE:
He displays playmaking ability on the field. With his athleticism, he’s able to improvise while on the go. Good awareness of the pressure around his, as well as space. Very confident in his abilities as a QB.Good patience as he waits for his receivers to break on their routes. Once Braylan gets flushed out of the pocket, he continues to stay with the play, throw before run.
DECISION MAKING:
Has the potential to be a complete QB, he’s able make plays in the pocket as well as out in the open field. Very decisive throws and tries to avoid tight coverage situation.
TOUCH:
Skilled at taking something off his velocity for added touch. Swooping fade tosses made within the back of the end zone. Tight trajectory at longer distances.
