Scouting Report

SIZE:
Brett has excellent size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6’2” 200 lbs. A very durable QB in the pocket, difficult to bring down. Lower body strength. He'll be at college ready size as he enters the collegiate level.
ACCURACY:
He’s on the mark with his throws at short and intermediate range. Throws in-line with his receivers, giving them a chance to make a play on it. Loses a bit of accuracy at long distance. Good anticipation of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
He displays throws that reach over defensive coverage. High velocity throws that are made within the secondary, squeezing in between tight windows of space. Able to generate momentum through his fully extended arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
Brett's most comfortable as a pure pocket passer. He can work to the outside with good mobility if needed but works best in the pocket, where he shows good vision and a knack for locating his primary target.
FOOTWORK:
Solid footwork on his dropbacks as well as his set ups. An athletic QB who shows good mobility for his size.
POISE:
He’s very calm while in the pocket, displaying patience as he waits for his receivers breaks. He shows confidence in his ability to lead his team down the field. Good feel of defensive pressure, able to side step for added space.
POCKET PRESENCE:
A tall presence in the backfield, able to see clearly over the line of scrimmage. He can hit in any area of the field with strength in arm.
DECISION MAKING:
Does a nice job seeking out his primary receivers and releasing the ball without hesitation. With more game experience, he'll continue to improve on working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Brett does a nice job making the right adjustments to the velocity of his throws, creating for a softer release.
