SIZE:
Broden has good size for a 2027 Dual Threat QB at 5’8" 155 lbs. He’s a playmaker on the field, doing whatever it takes to lead his team downfield. His quickness in step allows him to use the entire backfield. Tough running QB.
ACCURACY:
Whether he’s sitting in the pocket or rolling out, Broden's delivery remains consistent. He does a nice job getting his body in-line with his receivers.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to hit on all areas of the field with strong throws made with increased velocity. Tight trajectory of throws made over coverage.
RELEASE:
A classic over the top delivery which is fully extended and comes across quickly with strong forward momentum.
THROW ON RUN:
This is where Broden works best, out in the open field. He has so many weapons in his arsenal. Able to switch up from a passer to a runner at any given moment.
FOOTWORK:
Very good speed and quickness out in the open field. Displays elusiveness and shiftiness and he maneuvers around the defense. Solid footwork on his dropbacks and setups.
POISE:
A very confident QB who set the tone on the field with his ability to control the game. Confident in his abilities to lead his team downfield.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very difficult to contain within the backfield, showing excellent agility and movement. Picks up on pressure quickly while doing a nice job getting away from it.
DECISION MAKING:
A quick thinker, able to get the ball off in a hurry. He works all of his receiver options, locating the one with the best opportunity for positive gain.
TOUCH:
This is an area he'll continue to work on. Easing up while delivering a catchable ball.
