Caden has very good size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 205 lbs. He throws with a tall platform in the backfield, able to survey the entire field. A strong running QB with excellent lower body strength. A state champion.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, able to make plays with tight rotation of the ball. Good read on receivers pass routes along with timing and placement. Sharp throws made over the middle. Very consistent throwing motion, adding to his accuracy.
ARM STRENGTH:
Caden's a strong throwing QB who can reach all areas of the field. High velocity throws made at the short and intermediate range. Deadly vertical passing game with throws made over coverage.
THROW ON RUN:
For a QB of Caden's size, he’s very quick on his feet, while displaying athleticism on the field. Gets to the outside in a hurry, able to lock down on his target, while delivering a strike.
FOOTWORK:
A very agile QB who can serve as a Dual Threat in certain running situations. He shows good speed and elusiveness out in the open field. A strong running QB, who’s difficult to take down.
POISE:
Caden shows confidence in his abilities as a QB, very comfortable in the pocket. A pure athlete, able to do just about anything asked of him. Earned 3A State Championship MVP honors for his play on the field.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He does a nice job picking up defensive pressure, while moving away from pressure.
DECISION MAKING:
Able to work from his primary targets, down to secondary outlets. Good patience in the pocket, waiting for the play to fully develop.
TOUCH:
He’s a strong throwing QB who delivers tight trajectory on deep passes. Adds a softer touch on his short and intermediate routes.
