Caleb has good size for a 2028 Dual Threat QB at 5'5" 125 lbs. Throws with a high release point, allowing for added height to his delivery. Very consistent throwing mechanics.
ACCURACY:
Very impressed with his ability to make throws that are in-line with his receivers. Throws made with tight spiral and rotation. Very good ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH
Very good arm strength, able to reach all areas of the field with high velocity. Doesn’t lose much while on the run. Able to squeeze the ball in tight areas of space, while extending the field with long range passes. Tight trajectory on throws made at longer distances.
RELEASE:
His throws are made with an over the top delivery, fully extended arm motion. High release point, allowing for added height to his throws. Solid feet placement prior to setup.
THROW ON RUN
He shows very good quickness and speed getting to the outside, serving as a Dual Threat, able to go in each direction, pass or run. Very good body rotation as he squares up nicely with target.
FOOTWORK:
Very good footwork within the backfield, able to move laterally in either direction. He’s very active in the pocket and shows good speed and quickness out in the open field.
POISE:
Good control of the offense with strong ability to lead his unit downfield. He’s very focused while executing the play.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very comfortable within the pocket, able to stand tall in the pocket while he surveys the field or take it to the outside. Good feel for incoming pressure.
DECISION MAKING:
Quick reads, picking up on his initial targets. Able to improvise while on the go.
TOUCH
Able to ease off the velocity of his throws for added touch. Has worked to improve in developing a tighter trajectory at long range.
