SIZE:
Carter has excellent size for a 2025 Pro Style QB at 6’5” 216 lbs. A tall lengthy QB who'll continue to add bulk onto his frame. Sits in the pocket with a tall platform, surveying the entire field.
ACCURACY:
Able to hit his receivers in stride on the deep ball, just over the defender’s reach. Throws made in the short and intermediate range include a very catchable ball, allowing for his receivers to make a play. Good anticipation of receivers' routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Excellent range on his throws, capable of getting the ball to any area. High velocity on his throws over the middle along with tight trajectory on his throws at long range.
RELEASE:
Carter delivers the ball with a high release point along with full extension. Gets the ball off quickly with consistency. Very good footwork prior to setup.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who shows good mobility and quickness as he works to the outside. Does a nice job lining up with his receivers, strong forward momentum upon his release.
FOOTWORK:
A long stride running QB who can cover distance in a hurry. Able to create separation from defenders with burst of speed. Very agile within the pocket, able to move in all directions.
POISE:
He’s a playmaker who can change the tempo of the game by his play. Does a nice job picking up on pressure, stepping up or moving laterally.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Serves as a running QB when needed. Many weapons in his arsenal. He works in and out of the pocket with good agility, creating added space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
Carter's a smart thinking QB who makes quick decisions while on the run. Does a nice job locating his primary target. Works well through his progressions.
TOUCH:
This is an area of strength, he’s perfected his ability to add a soft touch on fade routes.
