SIZE:
Chase has very good size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6'2" 200 lbs lbs. He’s a quick hitting QB who gets the ball out quickly. Very comfortable in the pocket with good agility and movement.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with high percentage results, many of his passes are made at the short and intermediate range, in-line with his receivers. He’ll need to work to the trajectory of his deep passes.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws good velocity, getting through the secondary in a hurry. His offensive scheme from last season included many short quick hitting plays. Much improved on his arm strength at long range with increased distance.
RELEASE:
Throws with an over the top delivery, including a high release point. He shows good footwork as he works into his set up.
THROW ON RUN:
Displays good quickness and speed as he gets himself to the outside while he surveys the filed for potential targets. Very calm and patient as he waits for his receivers to get open.
FOOTWORK:
Good agility within the pocket, able to move in all directions, while creating additional space for himself.
POISE:
Good feel for the space around him. He’s a confident QB who not afraid to take chances.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He uses the entire backfield as his work area. Can sit in the pocket or take it to the outside.
DECISION MAKING:
With most of his offensive plays including quick hitters, Chase does a nice job locating his primary targets. Able to work down to his secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
Does a nice job added a softer release. working the ball in between zone coverage.
