SIZE:
Collier has very good size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 210 lbs. He throws with a tall platform, full extension and high release point. A strong running QB who shows good upper and lower body strength, not easily taken down. A very durable QB, who shows good patience as he waits for the play to develop. A playmaker on the field.
ACCURACY:
Right on the mark with his throws downfield. The consistency of his arm motion increases his ability to make sharp precision throws. Good timing and anticipation of his receivers routes. Losses a bit of accuracy while on the run.
ARM STRENGTH:
Collier gets the ball out in a hurry, generating increased momentum upon release. His throws at the short and intermediate range are made with high velocity. Good range along with having a strong vertical passing game.
RELEASE:
When set, he's able to maintain a consistent throwing motion. He throws with an over the top delivery and a fully extended arm motion. Can work to sharpen his footwork on his drop backs along with quickness in step.
THROW ON RUN:
Collier works the entire backfield. Able to get the outside with good lateral movement. Does a nice job setting up prior to delivery.
FOOTWORK:
He’s very mobile, especially out in the open field, showing good elusiveness and toughness. Able to work his way around traffic.
POISE:
A confident QB who trusts in his abilities as a QB. Shows good awareness of the pass rush while keeping the play alive.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He’s very comfortable within the pocket, rolling out when needed.
DECISION MAKING:
Collier can work all sides of the field, showing good vision and judgment.
TOUCH:
Very good touch on his releases, finding its way in between zone coverage. Very good trajectory on his deep passes, with just enough air.
