SIZE:
Connor has very good size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 190 lbs. This QB works well within the pocket while weeving his way through traffic. Very mobile QB with breakaway speed at a 4.58/40. Fully extended arm motion, creating lift and velocity.
ACCURACY:
He’s right on the mark when given time to set up, displaying proper throwing mechanics in a consistent manner. Good anticipation of his receivers' routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can attack a defense in many ways, whether it comes from a quick strike over the middle or a strong vertical throw downfield. Good strength in arm with high velocity throws made over the middle.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a full arm extension. Increased momentum throughout his arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
Gets out with a quick first step, generating speed as he works to the outside. Very dangerous in the open field, leading with ball in hand as he squares up with his receivers. Remains consistent in delivery while on the run.
FOOTWORK:
Well balanced stride on his dropbacks. Very agile within the pocket. Able to create separation.
POISE:
Connor displays good awareness of incoming pressure, able to step up or move laterally for added space. Very calm under pressure, stays focused on the play as he guides it through.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very comfortable within the pocket. Able to survey the field for potential targets. Good agility in and out of the pocket.
DECISION MAKING:
Picks up on intial reads, able to get the ball off quickly with good judgment. Much improved working through his progressions, from primary to secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
This is his best atribute. His throws are made with a softer touch, able to adjust the velocity of his throws in certain passing situations.
