SIZE:
Cooper has good size for a 2027 Pro Style QB at 5'10" 175 lbs. Stands tall in the pocket, surveying the field with excellent vision. A strong armed QB who can fire the ball just about anywhere on the field. He works well to pick apart a defense with throws made of laser sharp precision.
ACCURACY:
His throws include perfect trajectory, getting the ball to receivers in a hurry. He puts it in for his receivers to make a play on it, with excellent ball location. Picks up on his receivers routes with good anticipation and timing.
ARM STRENGTH:
Cooper makes his throws seem so effortless. His throws are made on a rope. Very good arm strength on deep patterns and high velocity throws at the short and intermediate range. Gets the ball to his receivers in a hurry.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. The ball gets out in a hurry with increased acceleration throughout his follow through. Solid footwork prior to his set up.
THROW ON RUN:
He’s most comfortable within the pocket. Displays athleticism while out in the open field. Excellent vision downfield with the ability to locate a potential target.
FOOTWORK:
Good mobility within the pocket, moving quickly to avoid traffic while creating space for himself.
POISE:
He works well with his offensive unit, using all of his options. Very good patience in the pocket while waiting for a play to develop.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good feel for defensive pressure, reacts quickly while maintaining his focus downfield.
DECISION MAKING:
I was very impressed in his ability to work through his progressions. This is his best QB attribute. Shows good patience and vision downfield.
TOUCH:
Tight trajectory on his deep passes with just enough air underneath. Able to make the right adjustments on the angle and delivery of his passes at the short and intermediate range.
