SIZE:
Cy has good size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6'0" 170 lbs. Stands tall in the pocket with excellent vision. A high release point, adding height to his throws. Has a knack for seeking out big plays downfield.
ACCURACY:
Most of his throws are quick hitters from a spread formation. High percentage throws which include anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Very accurate on deep routes with throws made with a tight trajectory.
ARM STRENGTH:
Able to extend the field with his vertical passing. Hitting in all areas of the field with good range. Gets the ball into tight windows of space, with a fully charged delivery.
RELEASE:
Cy throws with a over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. He gets the ball out in a hurry with strong forward momentum. High release point.
THROW ON RUN:
His offense is mostly run from the pocket but can get to the outside with very good range. He displays good mobility and quickness. Very good ball placement, along with a fully generated release.
FOOTWORK:
Demonstrates solid footwork on his drop backs as well as prior to his set ups before delivery. Very good speed and acceleration.
POISE:
Shows good patience as he waits for the play to fully develop. Increased confidence in his abilities as he enters the high school level. Not easily distracted by the noise around him.
POCKET PRESENCE:
This is where Cy works best. He’s able to see the entire field as he locates his primary targets. Doesn't give the defense time time to reacts to the darts he showers throughout the field.
DECISION MAKING:
He a quick hitting QB who’s able to pick up on the defensive coverage. Very decisive with his throws.
TOUCH:
A touch QB who can get the ball over the top on fade routes or in between zone coverage.
